Do posture supports really work?

I have really poor posture and its really hard to concentrate all day on standing straight,especially at work.

I am sure they will eventually make you sit differently, but its seems just trying to work on your posture yourself may be more comfortable

I'm not sure what a posture support is, to be honest. I do know some friends of mine have those shoe supports to help them stand correctly, & they really said they feel an improvement after getting them inserted.
